The date of the construction beginning of the largest gas works in Russia is announced

Director General of CJSC “Gazprom pererabotka Blagoveshchensk” (customer) Igor Afanasiev announced in the course of a conference call on August 10 that the construction of the Amur gas processing plant will start in July, 2016.




As the CJSC’s press office told Construction.ru, the conclusion Glavgosexpertiza (RF Main State Expert Review Board) for the project has already been received and they may start erection operations at the construction ground.
The project will be implemented at the expense of the project financing, but not Gazprom’s investment program. The investments will achieve 790.6 billion rubles. The construction in Amur region is to be completed in 2025.
The gas processing plant will be the largest in Russia and one of the largest in the world, and will be able to process 38 bln m3 of natural gas a year and to output methane, ethane, propane, butane, helium and pentane-hexane fractions. It will receive primary product by the “Power of Siberia” gas main from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas recovery centers.
