Representatives of Gazprom, and the Italian Edison and the Greek DEPA companies have signed an agreement on Russian gas delivery to Greece and Italy via the Black Sea’s bed.
As Construction.ru was told by Gazprom’s press office, deliveries are planned to be implemented on the territories of third-party countries, with the bulk of the work to be fulfilled by Edison and DEPA within the ITGI Poseidon project.
According to the opinions of the top management of the Edison and DEPA companies, the project will help strengthen the energy security of Europe. Cooperation with Russia will be realized in accordance with EC rules.
