New compensation fund of the construction self-regulatory organizations won’t lead to increase in contributions, the Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, told reporters on Friday.
The head of the Construction Ministry was answering reporters’ questions following the personal reception of citizens in the Russian Government House.
As our special correspondent, Alexei Nevsky, reported from the ground, the Minister said that the legislation on self-regulatory organizations should be amended with the purpose to make these organizations operate in the correct manner. This will be an effort to preserve self-regulatory organization as an institute within the state.
Otherwise, in case the self-regulation doesn’t not regulate itself once again, it might be abolished, warned Mikhail Menn.
Our correspondent asked the Minister: “Do the new amendments to the law envisage full or partial refund for the construction companies leaving the self-regulatory organizations?”
Mikhail Menn answered in the affirmation: “This mechanism isn’t a simple one, but it will be provided”.
