The Moscow authorities have announced a tender for the construction of two bridges across the Moscow Canal in the Mnevniki district.
A contractor is to be selected within two months, the press office of the Moscow construction complex told Construction.ru on Monday.
As soon as these bridges are built, the transport links in the Mnevniki district will be significantly improved. Besides this, road construction on the territory of the Mnivniki flood basin will start soon.
The 128 km Moscow Canal, situated in the area of the Russian capital and its environs, connects the Moskva River with the Volga River. It provides Moscow with access to five seas and also serves as a source of water for the city’s dwellers.
