The construction of an assembly line for HOWO trucks will start in the Khabarovsk region in 2016 in the Komsomolsk PDA.
As the regional press office told Construction.ru, Chinese investors and Khabarovsk companies have signed a number of agreements, including one for the construction of a plant for HOWO truck assembly and one for a plant for the production of equipment in the Komsomolsk PDA.
The China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) and the Heilongjiang ‘Gold Sea’ Investment Group Ltd. have signed the agreement for the Chinese parties.
The Russian Far East Road Construction Company will deal with the utilization and restoration of automobile tyres, the organization of high pressure hose production, the construction of the HOWO truck assembly line, etc. The projects will be implemented in cooperation with the Chinese partners. The construction of the plant will begin in 2016.
