The RF Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, plans to take part in the business program of the 4th ‘Smart cities of the future’ international forum, which will take place in Moscow on November 17th 18th.
As the ministry press office told Construction.ru, at 12.00 on the first day of the forum Mikhail Menn will take the floor at the ‘Urban territory transformation’ strategic session, and on November 18th at 10.00 he will take part in the ‘Concessions in the utilities sphere’ discussion.
‘Smart cities of the future’ is the largest annual event of great strategic importance for innovation and updating for Russian cities and improvements in quality of life. The aim of the forum is to show the conditions and prospects for innovative development of cities and towns: infrastructure updating, the development and improvement of land, the interaction between authorities, businesses and citizens in urban management, and the development of social and ecological responsibility.
In 2015 the forum will host 600 participants: governors, mayors of the largest cities, ministers, heads of the largest industrial enterprises and financial institutes, venture and innovation companies, and experts in urban construction and management. The ‘Innovation materials and technologies in construction and utilities spheres’ exhibition will take place as part of the forum.
