GC IT-Consult has completed a project on the development of the software application SIMATIC IT Preactor for production planning at TechnoNIKOL plants producing heat insulation from slag wool.
As Construction.ru was told by the IT-Consult press office, the implementation has been held at 6 plants in different cities simultaneously to manage the system’s initiation before the busy season.
The project is mainly targeted at the creation of a complex information system providing for:
-automatic calculation of an optimal production plan with account taken of specific criteria;
-automatic calculation of a production shipment with account taken of customers’ wishes and the real facilities of the plant.
SIMATIC IT Preactor has been integrated into the existing IT infrastructure of the plant as initial data are in different systems in different formats - 1С:ОКС, 1С:Zavod, Oracle SNO, and INFOR EAM.
It allows for the creation of a better production schedule due to a specially developed algorithm taking into account the peculiarities of product manufacturing at each of the corporation’s plants.
Before the implementation of SIMATIC IT Preactor, it took a planner more than an hour daily, but now it takes only a few minutes. “Besides the quality manufacturing schedule with account taken of optimization on several criteria, the system also allows us to process customers’ claims automatically. The answer, including the terms of shipment of each item, is published on the website of the plant. At the same time, the current condition of stores and production line loading are taken into account, and claims are analyzed and wrong ones rejected. To sum it up, I want to say that we can make a higher quality schedule in a much shorter time”, says the Logistics Director of the mineral insulation department of the TechnoNIKOL company, Tatiana Bertova.
