A Chinese producer of household appliances, The Haier Company, will open a TV set production line in Tatarstan.
As the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, told reporters, the enterprise will be located on the territory of the Master Kama industrial park in Naberezhny Chelny.
At present, the Chinese investor is completing construction of a plant producing refrigerators, which is scheduled to be put into operation in April 2016.
250,000 refrigerators will be produced there every year with a view to increasing this number up to 500,000.
