On February 25th, currency mortgage loan borrowers held a simultaneous protest in Moscommerzbank’s offices in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

As LifeNews reported, the currency mortgage loan borrowers are trying to make an arrangement with the directorship of the credit establishment on changing the conditions of residential loans repayment, by locking the doors of its offices.

The borrowers are insisting on the prohibition of eviction from apartments and the right to pay back credit at the rate at the moment of the agreements being signed. In Saint Petersburg they have occupied the office and are demanding the top managers see them. Instead of that, police have arrived, but they are not interfering yet.

Several dozen borrowers have also gathered at the Moscow office of Moscommerzbank in Begovaya Street. They want to stop bank employees from being able to serve customers. It will result in the ceasing of work and a later closing time for the bank.
