The Moscow authorities have signed a memorandum of cooperation with a big Chinese company, China Railway Corporation, on the construction of a 14 kilometer long underground line.
As our special correspondent, Alexey Nevsky, reports, this is what the head of the Department for Foreign Economic Relations of Moscow, Sergey Cheremin, who was delivering a speech at the First Russia-Chinese Construction Forum on the 2nd of March, has said.
According to him, the project will be implemented via a private / state partnership and involves the development of the adjacent areas. This includes the construction of residential buildings, business centers, hotels and social objects.
Speaking on the investment appeal of the Moscow construction sector, Sergey Cheremin has emphasized a dramatic change of situation, for the better, in connection with the sharp drop in the rouble rate. The construction process in Moscow has become considerably cheaper.
