11 rubbish recycling complexes will be built by 2020 in Krasnodar Krai, located in the Southern Federal District of Russia.
As Construction.ru was told by the press office of the regional administration, in just the past year over 180 illegal dumps have been discovered in Krasnodar Krai. At present, 117 of them have already been eliminated.
In 2016, dumps with an area of 130,000 m2 have been discovered and eliminated.
Besides this, the construction of an inter-municipal rubbish recycling complex is being completed now in the Belorechensk district. The ground in the Tikhoretsk district is almost finished.
Krasnodar Krai is located in the southwestern part of the North Caucasus. It is sometimes referred to as Kuban, a term describing a historical region of southern Russia.
