In April, the authorities of the Novosibirsk region will put out to tender a concession agreement on the construction of two powerful rubbish recycling plants, priced at 6 bln roubles.
The new complex will sort out all of the household waste from Novosibirsk and its satellites — Berdsk, Obi, and Koltsovo, the regional governor, Vladimir Gorodetsky, told reporters on the 6th of April.
The project also includes the construction of two disposal sites. The total investment is estimated at 6.3 bln roubles.
This year, rubbish recycling facilities will be developed in the region which will allow authorities to put into operation the common processing operator in the region.
The Novosibirsk region is located in southwestern Siberia. Its population stands at more than 2.6m people with major urban centers in Novosibirsk, Berdsk, Iskitim and Kuybyshev.
