The Supervising Council of the “Alaburg” Special Economic Zone, located in the Republic of Tatarstan, approved on Tuesday a construction project for three advanced production facilities worth 4 bln roubles. The Council is chaired by the Republic’s president, Rustam Minnikhanov.
One of the projects involves the construction of a plant producing crop-protecting agents, the regional press office told Construction.ru on the 4th of May. The plant’s capacity will amount to 30 m liters of product per year and 312 personnel will be employed at the enterprise.
The manufacture of horse feed (with a capacity of 3,000 tons per year) will be carried out in the area of the Special Economic Zone. The production will be carried out under a license from the Dutch Pavo company.
Moreover, a plant producing hot-pressed PVC film, a component in linoleum, is planned to be built in the SEZ.
