A training center for the Russian Naval Forces' divers and rescuers will be built in Sevastopol for one of the stages of the International Army Games in 2016.




As the Russian Special Construction Agency's press office told Construction.ru on Friday, the Center is intended for the training of military rescuers and divers. The “Depth-2016” multi-sport competition is planned to be held at this platform.

At present, specialists from the Russian Special Construction Agency have completed the demolition of old buildings and are proceeding to the construction stage.

10 pavilions comprising of 40-foot containers, each 12 meters in length, will be installed on the coast. They are designed to ensure divers' activities underwater through a bunch of communication tubes.

The spectators' stands will be constructed opposite the divers' pavilions, which will allow spectators to observe the competition above the water’s surface. Cameras will also be installed underwater.
