On May 17th, President Vladimir Putin conducted a sitting of the State Council of the Russian Federation on the issues of the Russian construction complex development and urban development improvement.
The press office of the Head of the Russian State talked about this to Construction.ru. A number of proposals concerning the topic on the basis of the data from regions, experts and professional communities were formulated for the sitting by the work group.
They referred to large-scale investment project implementation, application of new technologies, legislation harmonization in the sphere of construction, and the use of private-public partnership mechanisms. Also under discussion were the problems of residential realty market stimulation, housing availability and co-funded construction, and governmental regulation and self-regulation in the sphere of construction.
The key-note address was delivered by Victor Tolokonsky, the Governor of Krasnoyark.
As a reminder, the State Council of the RF was formed in 2000 on the initiative of the RF President, Vladimir Putin. It is a consultant body of the Head of the State, which is to aid coordinated functioning and interaction of the national authorities.
