Russian Prime Minister instructs to raise utility and housing tariffs

Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed a decree to raise the housing and utility service tariffs in Russia since the 1st of July.




A corresponding document was published on Thursday on the official website of the Russian government. It says that the average increase in tariffs will amount to 8,3%.

The least indexation will be in the Northern Ossetia (3%), Kabardino-Balkaria (3,8%) and Altay region (3,7%). In Saint Petersburg the growth will account for 6,5%, in Moscow – 7,5%.
