As the press office of the Krasnodar city administration announced, Metro Cash & Carry intended to build its second mall in this Russian city located northeast of the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
The total amount of the investments in the project is 20 m euro.
“In the present situation, we welcome establishing of additional opportunities for the development of the middle-size and medium-size businesses. It is this segment of the market, that is targeted by small-scale wholesale centers of Metro Cash & Carry. Implementation of this project will provide the city with new jobs, will ensure the growth of a tax base and encourage the development of entrepreneurship”. – Head of the city, Vladimir Evlanov, said.
At present, the company is carrying out a design work and is developing a traffic flow chart for the area, where the mall is to be located.
