Head of the Crimean Parliament’s Committee for Sanitary and Resort Tourism, Alexey Chernyak, called on investors from Russia to submit their proposals on investment projects in an area of Klementyev's Mountain located near Koktebel, a resort townlet in South-Eastern Crimea.

Earlier, the Crimean administration sent for follow-up revision the “Town of Aviators” investment project, which provides for construction of a recreation center. The project caused a massive public outcry and mixed feelings for the part of local residents and aviators. The final decision will be made following public hearings with the participation of scientists.

As a reference, Klementyev's Mountain is the largest center of gliding on the territory of the former USSR and is considered to be a cradle of Soviet gliding.
