Best Hotel Properties, a Slovak company, is negotiating selling Hotel Baltschug Kempinski in Moscow, the company’s PR manager, Barbara Bognarova, told RIA Novosti on Monday. She added, that Best Hotel Properties will make an announcement as soon as the talks are over.
According to a source from the real estate market, owners of Hotel Baltschug Kempinski put it for sale half of the year ago, but haven’t chosen a buyer yet. “They are ready to sell it, but there is no buyers”, - the source explained RIA Novosti news agency.
According to the expert, at present, the negotiations are underway with a number of buyers and added that more likely the matter concerns unknown billionaires, “about whom we have never heard before”.
As a reference, a 100% package of shares is estimated at approximately $260 million.
