As designated by President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the work has started for the creation of modern metal-detection gateways near Spasskaya and Borovitskaya towers of the Moscow Kremlin.
Kremlin superintendent lieutenant–general of Federal Protective Service (FSO), Sergei Khlebnikov, delivered a speech on that issue in his interview to RIA Novosti today. According to him, at present, it is only Kutafya tower that is equipped with such complexes.
The new gateways will be comfortable for people to pass: there will not be any queues under rain or snow. On the whole, there are enough resources and capabilities in the Moscow Kremlin to cancel all existing terroristic threats.
