The Tyumen regional authorities offers Azerbaijani counterparts to build a wholesale trade and distribution complex with a presumed amount of investments of 3 billion roubles, the region’s governor Vladimir Yakushev said at a business meeting held in Baku on Wednesday with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries.
The facility is intended to simplify logistic of agricultural goods.
“Building the complex will cost approximately 3 billion roubles. We are ready to offer entrepreneurs the sites for its construction, tax and other benefits. It is safe to say that recoupment period will not exceed seven years,” announced Vladimir Yakushev.
The governor noted that the hub might be exploited not only to supply Azerbaijani fruits and vegetables to the city of Tyumen and other Russian regions, but to export grain and potatoes from the Tyumen region to Azerbaijan as well.
