South Korean investor takes part in fish-processing project on Kamchatka

A resident of “Kamchatka” advanced development territory will build in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, located in the Kamchatka region, the Russian Far East, is going to build a fish-processing factory.




The project, which is estimated at 643 million rubles, will be implemented by Russian and South Korean investors, a director general of The Far East Development Corporation, Denis Tikhonov, said on Thurday.

Implementation of the project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018. Design engineering, construction and launch of the fish-processing factory will be carried out by a Russian company “Gorod 415” with the involvement of Korea Traiding & Industries Co., LTD, an international company based in South Korea.

According to the Far East Development Corporation, “participation of the Korean partner will let complete the construction in due time and equip the factory with advanced production machinery.”
