The architectural ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin, including its restricted area will get new illumination, the press office of the Moscow Department for Competitive Policy said on Friday.
“Moscow announced an electronic auction for arrangement of architecture and art illumination of a restricted area around the Kremlin, including the ensemble itself.
The Department stressed that the buildings’ facades should be illuminated delicately and a designer should focus on the facades, which have preserved their ancient architectural appearance. As an example, a mansion house in Kolymazhny Bystreet and a historic Empire-style Glebova’s building were mentioned.
Start price of the contract will total 56 million rubles ($870,000). Applications are received until the 8th of December.
