The most large-scale commissioning of roads in Moscow is scheduled for 2018, a Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban construction policy, Marat Khusnullin said in an interview to “Rossiiskaya Gazeta” newspaper published on Thursday.
“According to our estimates, the peak of road construction activities will take place in 2018, when instead of 100 km that we push for putting in operation each year, we expect to build 158 km. In case we manage to do it, this will become one more true record of Moscow builders,” noted Khusnullin adding that objects’ funding will be ensured within the framework of the Moscow Target and Investment Program.
Khusnullin said that half as much funds was allotted to road construction – 150 billion rubles instead of 100 billion.
