Construction of a unique Igloo hotel made of snow and ice began in the Kamchatka region situated in the Russian Far East.
As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the regional government, an ice hotel will accommodate its first visitors as early as on The New Year’s holidays.
Currently, builders are working on the territory of Nachikinskiy sanatorium. Volunteers from different cities of Russia, as well as famous carvers of snow will arrive in Kamchatka to erect the Igloo hotel.
A fancy hotel will consist of several Igloos representing a traditional home of the Eskimos. Small houses will be built in a classical way, from ice bricks, and the largest one will be constructed with the help of snow cannons.
