Yesterday, the Christie & Co real estate firm unveiled its deal with the Chinese company SinoFortune over the sale of The Plough pub in Cadsden, The Sunday Morning Herald reports on the 7th of December.




This traditional countryside pub with history dating back to the 16th century, has got into public spotlight globally, after the last year visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the former UK Prime Minister David Cameron.

Two leaders met at the official country house retreat, Chequers, where they stopped at the pub and enjoyed there a pint of ale and some fish and chips. Now, the venue becomes extremely popular among Chinese tourists.

According to the available data, the deal is estimated at £2 million ($3.4 million).
