Builders started mounting 40 lifts at a construction site of Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena located in the Russian capital city, the head of the Moscow Construction Department, Andrey Bochkaryov, told Construction.RU on Tuesday.
According to Andrey Bochkaryov, four elevators have already been installed. The lifts are being mounted following the example of the stadium bowl for moving the audience in skyboxes.
Apart from the lifts, special elevators are planned to be installed on all of the stadium’s stairs to meet the needs of people with restricted mobility.
We should remind you that reconstruction of Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena was launched in 2014. The main building activity is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016.
