In 2016, the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine issued 111,000 permits for construction activities, what is 12% more than the previous year (99,000), the head of Inspectorate, Alexey Kudryavtsev, announced at a briefing on Monday.
Alexey Kudryavtsev added that the most permits were issued in the Kievskaya, Dnepropetrovskaya and Lvovskaya regions. He pointed out that a number of construction work carried out with violations was decreased in 2016. Alexey Kudryavtsev explained that the progress was achieved due to awareness-raising activities carried out by the Inspectorate.
“Communication between builders and the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine has improved,” he stated.
