Operation of Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow has been suspended until further notification due to troubles with water supply in the building, the source in the American Embassy announced, Interfax news agency reports.
According to the official statement published on the website of the U.S. Embassy, the consulate will not provide services related to issuance of visas, both immigration and non-immigration ones. Nor will it consider non-urgent requests from the American citizens. Only urgent requests submitted by the citizens of the USA will be taken in consideration by U.S. consulate in Moscow today.
As the U.S. Embassy told Interfax later, its Consular Section plans to resume operation on Tuesday morning.
