The authorities of Crimea will spend 5 billion rubles ($84 million) on the construction of a major medical center located northward to the Republic's capital city of Simferopol.
This information was revealed by the head of the region, Sergey Aksyonov, at a meeting with the regional Health Minister, Alexander Golenko.
“There are 5 billion rubles for the given facility,” Aksyonov said.
In his turn, the Minister Alexander Golenko announced that a building contracted had already been determined.
“Design and estimate documentation is prepared, there is an available construction site,” the Minister informed.
He added that the facility would be completed at the 10th kilometer of Dzankoyskaya highway and the construction activities would start this year.
