Skanska, a world leading project development and construction group, has announced that it concluded a contract with the Massachusetts Port Authority for construction of a new U.S. transportation center, Reuters reports on Friday.
The facility is planned to be located in the Seaport District in the city of Boston.
The contract price is said to be $75 million, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the fourth quarter 2016, the news agency specifies.
The construction activities are already being carried out. The object is expected to be completed in spring of 2018.
As a reference, Skanska AB, a multinational construction and development company based in Sweden, is ranked the world's 5th largest construction company.
