Ukraine has not yet signed a memorandum with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which will allow Kiev to receive the next tranche of financial aid in the amount of $1 billion.

However, the Finance Minister of Ukraine, Aleksander Danilyuk, claims that the document will be signed in the coming days.

This statement Mr. Danilyuk made in an interview to Zerkalo Nedeli weekly.

“We have not signed a memorandum, but we are very close to it. I believe that the matter will be settled in the coming days, today or tomorrow. I hope that it will not drag on further. At present, the document is not signed, there was a misinformation, but it is not critical,” Danilyuk said.
