Moscow allocates $7,2 billion to construction this year

Over the course of the year 2017, about 420 billion rubles ($7,2 billion) are planned to be allocated from the Moscow city budget to the construction activities, the head of the Construction Department of the Russia’s capital, Andrei Bochkaryov, said on Monday.




“According to the target investment program, 417 billion rubles are envisaged for the construction for this year, whereas, the major part of the funds will be allotted to building metro stations and facilities of transport infrastructure,” Bochkaryov said.

He said that 124 billion rubles will be spent on construction of health centers, education institutions, culture and sports facilities, as well as laying utility lines. Some 136 billion rubles will be spent on road building and 157 billion rubles will be allocated to metro construction.
