Russian PM signs decree on establishment of new priority development area

Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has signed a decree establishing Neftekhimicheskyi priority development area in the Primorsky region, Interfax news agency reports on Saturday with the reference to the government of the Russian Federation.




According to the available information, Neftekhimicheskyi priority development area was set up for the purpose of contributing to the development of the petrochemical cluster in the Far Eastern Federal district of Russia, as well as to the export of new goods to Asia-Pacific region’s markets and the creation of new jobs, attraction of investments.

A procedure of free customs zone, established by law of the Eurasian economic Union, is planned to be applied on the territory of Neftekhimicheskyi priority development area.
