1,800 projects of public-private partnership attracted $2,2bn investments in Russia

As of the beginning of this year, 1825 projects are implemented in Russia within the framework of a public-private partnerships, that have attracted 126 billion rubles ($2,2 billion) in private investments, a Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Stanislav Voskresensky, said on Tuesday.

“At present, there are 1,825 projects at varying stages, most of them, about 90%, are concessions,” Stanislav Voskresensky noted.

76% of them are the projects implemented in the public sector, 3% account for the transport sector, 15% — in the social sphere. 85% of projects are realized at the municipal level, and 12% are regional ones, while the federal projects account for 3%.
