Rosatom Latin America, the United Innovation Corporation and the Latin American Irradiation Association have agreed on the promotion of radiation technologies in the Latin American region.
The parties signed a corresponding memorandum of understanding within the framework of 2017 NDExpo forum.
The document provides for cooperation in the field of the exchange of information related to technologies, arrangement of visits to ray treatment centers, staff training, preparation of projects in the area of the environment control and protection.
The President of the Latin American Irradiation Association, Daniel Alejo Perticaro noted that “Latin America is actively developing the nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes, in particular, in the field of irradiation”.
