Wintershall considers options for support of Nord Stream-2 project

Wintershall, a German oil company, is considering options for support of the project for construction of Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, the head of the company, Mario Mehren, said at an annual press conference.




“We are considering the ways to support the project,” he said, talking about the prospects of the company's participation in Nord Stream-2 project.

As it was previously reported, the partners of Nord Stream-2 project can define a model of its financing to the end of the first half of 2017.

Nord Stream-2 is the project of a gas pipeline with the capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year running from Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea.
