Russian government allocates $120m to establish infrastructure of science parks

Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed a decree on the allocation of more than 6.8 billion rubles (approximately $120 million) to compensate expenses on the creation of infrastructure of industrial and science parks in Russian regions, the government website reported on Tuesday.


The decree approved a list of projects for the establishment of industrial and science parks. The funds are planned to be allocated in the period from 2017 to 2019 and are distributed in the following amounts: in 2017 — 3 million rubles to nine subjects of the Russian Federation; in 2018 — 2,6 million roubles to seven regions; in 2019 — 1,1 million roubles to five regions.
