In 2017, the Russian government has allocated 10 billion rubles ($178 million) to straighten out, develop and increase a traffic capacity of automobile roads of public service of regional, inter-municipal and local significance.
The corresponding decree was published on the government’s official website.
The funds allocated for this purpose are budgeted for the year 2017, within the framework of a state program named “The Development of Transport System.”
As it is reported, the relative amendments have been made in the rules of granting and distribution of intergovernmental transfers for the above indicated purposes, ensuring that transfers may be granted to subjects of the Russian Federation, which are not involved in the implementation of “Safe and Quality Roads” priority project.
