Champagne factory in Crimea to be privatized

The Crimean factory of sparkling wines “Novyi Svyet” will be privatized, the Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Republic, Anna Anokhina, announced on Tuesday.

“Privatization of a state unitary enterprise of the Republic of Crimea, the factory of sparkling wines “Novyi Svyet”, is carried out by transformation of the enterprise into a joint-stock company, 100% shares of which will remain in state ownership of the Republic of Crimea. This method of privatization is stipulated by the federal law,” Anna Anokhina said at a meeting of the Crimean government.

This factory producing local champagne has been included in the list of objects subject to privatization in the year 2017.
