In September 2017, Tesla, an American automobile company, will present its first long-range truck Tesla Semi, the company’s CEO Elon Musk announced on his Twitter page.
“Tesla Semi truck unveil set for September. Team has done an amazing job. Seriously next level,” Elon Musk wrote.
He also announced via Twitter that Tesla would present a pickup truck to the public over the course of the next 18-24 months.
In addition, Musk wrote that Tesla Roadster sports car of the next generation would be a cabriolet.
Tesla has long been planning to add a pickup to its range of passenger cars. Musk pointed to the prospects of these new products in the second volume of his “master plan” for the development of Tesla.
