Funds in the amount of 30 billion rubles ($534 million), which have been allocated for the repair of region’s roads in 2017, should be quickly delivered to the municipal level, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
“The road project has been approved, the regions to carry out these activities have been determined. This year, about five thousand kilometers of roads will be constructed, reconstructed and renovated within the project, and eliminated more than one thousand accident clusters. Funds in the amount of 30 billion rubles have been allocated to the regions for these purposes,” — Dmitry Medvedev said at a session of Presidium of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for strategic development and priority projects.
