Russia and Israel signed a joint declaration of intentions to enhance collaboration in the field of construction, housing and utilities, as well as a “road map” for technical cooperation in the agriculture sector.
The corresponding documents between two Ministries of both countries were signed following Russian-Israeli negotiations.
Apart from that, the parties signed a protocol concluded between Russian Federal Customs Service and Customs Directorate at Revenue Administration of Israel on sharing preliminary information regarding goods and transport vehicles moving between the countries.
Also, an agreement on twinning arrangements between Skolkovo Innovation Center in Russia and Israeli northern city of Yokneam Illit was signed.
As a reference, Yokneam is known as Israel's “Startup Village”, because of its high-technological hub surrounded by forest and small communities. The Skolkovo Innovation Center is a high technology business area under construction near Moscow, intended to be a highly modern complex established to encourage science and technology companies.
