The Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) has announced a public tender for contractors to build housing for its students and postgraduates.
According to documentation published on the 27th of April on the state purchases website, the initial (maximum) price of the contract is 2.35 bln roubles.
The project involves the construction of an 18-storey student hostel with a total area of 48,700 m2, which is designed to house 1,900 students. The object will be located at Vernadsky prospect, 76.
The Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee has already issued a building permit.
All work at the construction site is to be executed at the expense of the federal budget by the 31st of December, 2020.
The bids are being received until the 17th of May. The tender results will be announced on the 20th of May.
