3.5 bln rub restoration center needs to be built for Pushkin State Museum

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts has announced a tender for the construction of a depository, restoration and exhibition center in Moscow. The project is estimated at 3.5 bln roubles.




According to the tender documentation published on the state purchases website, the construction will be carried out on Maliy Znamensky Side-street, 8 and Kolymazhny Side-street, 4 and 6.

Over 47 months a building with an area of 20,500 m2 will be erected. A depository and restoration and exhibition center for storage of the museum’s collections will be located there, offering the possibility of conducting research and restoration work.

It should be mentioned that a similar tender worth 3.9 bln roubles was put out as early as March. However, it was later annulled by the decision of the customer.
