The authorities of the Russian city of Perm have planned the construction of a new shelter for homeless animals.
As the head of the Department of town planning and architecture of Perm, Andrey Yaroslavtsev, told reporters on Tuesday, the new centre will be located with the address at Teploprovodnaya Street, building 3.
The estimated construction cost is estimated at more than 55 million rubles, but these funds have not been included in the city budget yet.
In general, this year, the local authorities plan to allocate 30 million rubles from the city and regional budgets to capture, maintenance and treatment of animals. This will allow to catch more than 2 thousand stray animals.
