The authorities of the Northern capital put out a tender for the construction of the underground section from “Spasskaya” station to “Gorny institute” station, the initial cost is 20.7 billion rubles.
As reported on the state procurement web-site, the station “Teatralnaya” will be built between the two metro stations. Metro construction sites will be located in Sredny and Bolshoi avenues of Vassilievsky Island, In Alexander Blok street and Teatralnaya square. The construction is due to be completed on November 30, 2019. Claims for participation in the tender will be received till July 23rd, 2015. The winner will be announced on August 6th.
