The Profine RUS company arranged an excursion for journalists as part of an ecological press tour around a plant in Voskresensk, in the Moscow region.

As our play-by-play correspondent Anastasia Liashenko reports, the journalists were invited on the occasion of the successful execution of the annual audit of the plant and after its products acquired the right to bear the eco-friendly ‘A leaf of life’ logo.

The journalists were shown the process of PVC profile production for KBE and TROCAL windows, and told about environmentally friendly production and about the safe usage of the company’s profiles.

The chief ecologist at the plant, Ivan Bondarenko, spoke about lead-free greenline technology and about the stages of ecological certification of the plant and its products.

The journalists were then shown the waste sorting and utilization process – one of the main aspects of the ecological policy of the Profine RUS company.

The chief technologist at the enterprise, Mikhail Nikitilia, showed the guests around the production and administrative grounds, where they were shown extrusion and mixing equipment. At the end of the excursion, the director of the plant, Andre Vagner, said: “We are glad to show you our innovative approach to the production of PVC profiles as well as how our enterprise and its products correspond with all Russian and international ecological norms”.
