The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Rogozin, has put into operation a new plant from the “Almaz-Antey” conglomerate, where, according to data, the latest Russian air defense system, “Prometheus” S-500, will be produced.
As the local media reports, the plant is named “Kirovsk Machine-Building Enterprise” and, as Dmitry Rogozin puts it, is one of the best responses from Russia to western sanctions.
1,800 high-tech jobs have been created at the enterprise. In order to fill the jobs, a special training module was introduced in July 2015, at the VyatGU training and exhibition center in Kirov.
Highly qualified staff are being prepared there to work with modern multiaxle machines.
