During reconstruction, the “Luzhniki” sports complex and stadium will be equipped with an advanced security system.
The project includes the development of 6 transport and 7 pedestrian checkpoints, the installation of 1500 surveillance cameras in the “Luzhniki” sports arena, explosives detectors, X-ray introscopes and luggage floor scanners, the press office of the Moscow construction complex told Construction.RU on Tuesday.
The surveillance camera network will allow the security forces to monitor the tribunes, the inner premises, the entrances and exits, and the parking lots.
In accordance with FIFA requirements, the entire territory of the complex will be segregated into zones, according to security priorities.
Within the course of the “Luzhniki” sports arena reconstruction, the basic reinforced concrete work has finished, and the finishing of the interior building and the laying of the utility systems is underway.
